At Tor Krzywa, driving for people with their own car is organised by the venue's owner itself, the company Tor Krzywa. The track offers two formats: Track Day sessions and the amateur sporting Puchar Toru Krzywa.

Track Day: two-hour sessions

The day on track is divided into two-hour sessions: 10:00, 12:00 and 14:00, and from April to October also 16:00. A session is for cars or for motorcycles, depending on who books it first. At most 10 cars drive in a car session. Nobody measures out your time on track; the rules recommend going out for about 10 minutes at a time. A safety briefing is compulsory before your first run.

The entry ticket covers one driver and one registered vehicle. A second driver of the same car pays extra on site, and registered passengers, at most three, may ride in the car. The track also sells a variant of the session with timing.

What you need

  • a driving licence; if you do not have one, contact the track office,
  • a car in working order, without leaks, with complete bodywork (bonnet, bumpers, lights) and a screwed-in towing eye,
  • seat belts and head restraints for the driver and the passenger, at least one fire extinguisher and a first-aid kit,
  • identical wheels on each axle and no anti-skid additions on the tyres,
  • items in the cabin and the boot secured.

On track you drive with seat belts fastened, lights on and the windows and sunroof closed. A helmet is mandatory for everyone in a car with a roll cage. A convertible drives with its roof on, and the rules then recommend a helmet. Drifting, burnouts and doughnuts are banned; the staff remove you from the session for drifting. The limit on the access roads and in the car park is 20 km/h, and zero alcohol applies across the whole venue.

During Track Day, paid training may not be run and you may not use your own coach or instructor. A minor needs a guardian on site and prior training with a track instructor.

Puchar Toru Krzywa

The cup is a series of rounds in which the fastest lap of the day counts. Drivers go out in groups of up to six cars, each group has four ten-minute sessions, and the time is measured by a transponder system. The STREET category is for factory cars of up to 250 hp, on road-homologated tyres, without semi-slicks or slicks. More powerful and prepared cars start in the SPORT category. A helmet with "E" or FIA homologation is mandatory in, among other cases, a car with a roll cage or a roll bar, or on tyres without road homologation. You can only enter by buying an entry in advance; there are no entries on the day of the event.

How to sign up for Track Day

First you buy an entry ticket in the track's shop, then you phone or write to reception to agree the date and the type of session. You must cancel at least two days in advance, otherwise the ticket is lost; it is valid for 12 months from purchase. The days open for Track Day are shown in the track's calendar.
