At Tor Poznań, run by Automobilklub Wielkopolski, you can drive your own car with several organisers. The Automobilklub's own car practice sessions are only for competitors with a motorsport licence and current medical examinations.

Tor Poznań Track Day: timed rounds

Tor Poznań Track Day (TPTD) is organised by the company Track Day. The rounds are also the PZM Poznań District Championship in amateur circuit racing, so you drive in groups with timing. Only a driver with a TPTD licence goes into the timed sessions. You do not need to have one beforehand: before your first start you pass a short online test on flags and safety rules, and the practical part in the Green Group (Grupa Zielona). That group is a theory session, practice in sectors of the track and a timed session, about an hour and a half of driving in all, for up to 20 cars. The licence is free, has no expiry date and is valid only at TPTD events.

With the licence you choose a group: from four 15-minute sessions to six 20-minute sessions, usually for up to 20 or 25 cars. There are also single sessions without classification, Time Attack, a one-hour race and a night race. In the round's schedule the race office opens at 7:00 and the safety briefing starts at 7:30.

The round's rules require a driving licence, third-party liability insurance and a registration certificate with a valid technical inspection. The car goes through a noise test: at most 93 dB in the static measurement or 96 dB in the dynamic one. Electric cars are not admitted, and only cars with a roll cage may run on slicks. Screwed-in towing eyes, a fire extinguisher in the car, a motorsport helmet (one with an expired homologation is accepted too), fastened seat belts, closed windows and dipped headlights are mandatory. The co-driver must be at least 17.

Open Track Sport Drive

Sport Drive runs free driving on this track from 9:00 to 15:00. Licensed competitors can drive in it, as can drivers without a licence, either with an instructor or after the training the organiser provides before the first run. A helmet is mandatory, and you can borrow one from the instructor. The same 93 and 96 dB noise limit applies. At the office you get a sticker and a GPS unit, which you have to return after driving. You sign up on the organiser's website, by phone or by e-mail; you pay by bank transfer, in cash or by card.

Open Track by Drepo

Drepo Racing, a Poznań company, also runs free driving in your own car at Tor Poznań. All you need is a road-legal car and a helmet. You book a place on the organiser's website, after creating an account, or by phone, and pay by card, BLIK or bank transfer.

Before you sign up

In spring 2026 the Chief Inspector of Environmental Protection issued a decision halting the use of the track because of noise exceedances, and two weeks later suspended its enforcement. Until the Voivodeship Administrative Court decides the case, the track operates on its existing terms. So before you set off, check with the organiser that your date still stands.
