Track days at Tor Białystok: free driving and AG Racing sessions

Tor Białystok is run by the municipal Białostocki Ośrodek Sportu i Rekreacji (BOSiR). It is an asphalt loop about 930 m long, intended mainly for amateur driving and technique improvement. You drive your own car here in two ways: at BOSiR's open free driving sessions or at the training sessions of the AG Racing school.

BOSiR free driving

One session lasts an hour. First comes registration and a briefing, which you must attend. Then the drivers are split into groups of 5 to 6 cars, which go out on track in turn for roughly 10 minutes. When the session is fully booked, that gives about 20 minutes of driving per hour. The calendar has separate hours for beginners and for free driving, both with a drifting ban, as well as separate drift sessions. A second driver of the same car pays extra on site.

What you need

• a signed statement that you are aware of the risk; BOSiR recommends printing it out and signing it before you come,
• a helmet if you drive a car with a roll cage or a convertible; in other cars BOSiR recommends one,
• a car within the noise limit of the rules (98 dB, and 96 dB at 3500 rpm); the staff may measure the noise on request.

You have to be on site 30 minutes before the session. A minor drives only with the consent and in the presence of a guardian. The rules ban burnouts and doughnuts, and allow drifting only with BOSiR's consent.

How to sign up

Sign-up and payment are in the calendar on the track's website. You choose a session, enter your details and pay by card or by fast bank transfer through PayU. The calendar shows how many places are left. An unpaid order is cancelled after 30 minutes. You can also come without a booking, but only if there are free places in the session. BOSiR adds sessions on later days gradually, and if you need another date, it asks you to get in touch.

The whole track can also be hired for practice or a competition, more cheaply on working days than at weekends. For that, BOSiR asks you to phone or e-mail.

AG Racing training

AG Racing Academy organises track days on this track for drivers of every level. You drive your own car, which can be a civilian one not prepared for motorsport. The driving takes place as an open track or in four groups of 5 to 6 cars. The school announces the dates on social media, and its website has an entry form. You can also come without entering. Payment is in cash only, on the day of the training.

The school requires a helmet in cars with a roll cage (a motorcycle one will do) and suggests one in other cars. It also recommends a tow hook and a 2 kg fire extinguisher. It also runs individual coaching in the student's car, with timing and analysis of video and telemetry data; the dates are arranged individually.
