On 16 October 2026 CREDITAS Autodrom Brno announced that from the 2027 season it will host the FIM MotoJunior World Championship, the world championship for the youngest motorcycle racers run under the Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme. It is the second major title in a year for a circuit that regained the Grand Prix of Czechia on the 2026 MotoGP calendar.

What the operator announced

The statement is short: the championship comes to Brno from 2027. The operator gave neither the number of rounds nor a date, and the series itself is a new FIM formula for junior-age riders. The Grand Prix of Czechia returned to the circuit in the 2026 season on 19 to 21 June with the full MotoGP field; the operator's home page already carries a banner about the race moving back to July.

What it means for an amateur driver

The effect is indirect but real. Every world championship series obliges the venue to keep its homologation, surface, run-off areas and paddock infrastructure at a level that every open day for cars and motorcycles then benefits from. For anyone planning to drive their own car to Brno, it is a signal that the venue will invest in the track, not only in the grandstands.

How the 2026 season ends

October in Brno means two weekends: a hillclimb with a record entry list, historic cars and the Tuning Show, which carries the last public track sessions of the year. Anyone who still wants to take their own car onto the circuit in 2026 has their last chance then.

What we do not know

The number of MotoJunior rounds in Brno, the date, and whether the race will be part of a larger weekend. We have asked the circuit's press office and will add the answer to this story.
